Abi Johnson
A Colorado native, Abi moved up to Aspen in 2025 from the Denver area. Growing up she participated in all of the typical Colorado outdoor activities, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, etc… as well as playing multiple sports, so she’s well versed and passionate about how to take care of the body in order to continue doing all the activities that make living in Aspen so much fun. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Northern Arizona University, an exercise physiologist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a comprehensive Pilates Apparatus and Mat certification, and most recently, a Lagree method certification. Her teaching style is often described as challenging in a sneaky way, and she prioritizes body awareness, body education, and slow, intentional movement in her classes. She believes movement should be fun, encouraging, and support both the mind and the body.
Her favorite Pilates exercises are bridging and short spine, anything to engage the core while mobilizing and supporting the spine!
Her favorite Lagree exercise is giant reverse bear, such a good burn for the core!
